- We are pleased to announce this event as the continuation of the biannual
series of international conferences on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy. After being held in
Albuquerque, New Mexico (1997) and Würzburg, Germany (1995), the meeting returns in 1999
to its birthplace, the pictoresque city of Heidelberg in the province of
Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany, where it was held in 1991 and 1993.
- Venue:

- The venue will utilize the state-of-the-art communication center of the
German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), which offers a 300-seat auditorium, an attractive
atrium/foyer for up to ca. 100 Posters, adjacent seminar rooms for use by MR vendors, and
a pleasant cafeteria for reenergizing between the rigorous scientific sessions.
- Scope:

- The scope of the conference is to provide a congenial forum for
discussion of the most recent advances in NMR and EPR techniques for imaging and localized
spectroscopy and their applications to various topics of chemistry, physics, biology, and
medicine, as well as materials and earth sciences. A wide range of spatial resolutions
ranging from microns to centimeters will be covered.
