This central location makes it fairly easy to reach W\u00fcrzburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By airplane<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to travel to Germany by plane the airport closest to W\u00fcrzburg is <strong>Frankfurt\/Main (FRA)<\/strong>, which receives direct service from essentially all major airports within flying range. The train station located within Frankfurt airport offers fast direct connections to W\u00fcrzburg main station with a minimum of one train per hour during daytime. Travel time is  about 90 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An alternative, especially if flying within Europe, can be the airport of  <strong>N\u00fcrnberg (NUE)<\/strong>.  Here, you will have to take the subway from the airport to N\u00fcrnberg main station and from there again there will be comparable service to W\u00fcrzburg main station as from Frankfurt. Including the subway travel time is slightly shorter than from Frankfurt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, other major German airports like Munich (MUC), Cologne (CGN), or Hamburg (HAM) have direct long distance trains connecting to W\u00fcrzburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By train<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>W\u00fcrzburg is at the intersection of major north-to-south and east-to-west railroads in Germany and therefore easily reachable by train. From many European major cities you will find direct trains or connections with just one change of trains. Your destination should always be W\u00fcrzburg main station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By car<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar to the railroads W\u00fcrzburg is also a major intersection of north-to-south and east-to-west autobahns (A7 and A3). Coming on the A7 from the north take exit 101 &#8220;W\u00fcrzburg\/Estenfeld&#8221;, from the south exit 103 &#8220;Kitzingen&#8221;. Coming on the A3 from the east take exit 72 &#8220;Biebelried&#8221;, from the west exit 70 &#8220;W\u00fcrzburg\/Heidingsfeld&#8221;.
