ICMRM & CMMR:
The Colloquium on Mobile Resonance (CMMR) is an annual meeting, which has evolved over the past yeras from a workshop style to an international conference. In 2006 it had status of "specialized Colloque Ampere". The objectives of the CMMR are:
- to communicate progress, developments and applications of Mobile Magnetic Resonance (NMR, EPR and NQR),
- to promote hands-on understanding in the form of educational lectures and practical sessions on such mobile equipment.
The International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy has started in 1991 in Heidelberg. Knows as the "Heidelberg Conference", it is the biannual conference of the Divission of Spatially Resolve Magnetic Resonance of the Ampere Society. It is the international meeting for dissemination of all developments in non-clinical magnetic resonance methods and application related to NMR and EPR with spatial resolution, that is imaging and flow NMR. The ICMRM alternates with the International Conference on Magnetic Resonance in Porous Media (ICMRPM) in subsequent years.
So far, the following invited speakres have confirmed their participation:
Call for Contributions:
The contributions will be:
DEADLINE for registering contributions is July 15th 2007
Young Investigator award:
Young investigators (age < 35 years, no permanent position) are encouraged to contribute papers. A jury will select up to 5 to present their work in session 12. The best presentation will receive a prize.
Poster Competition:
The best posters of young scientists will be selected by a jury and the leading author will receive an award at the conference dinner.
Photo Competition:
Yang Xia will organize a photo competition for the best MR images. Submission details will be avaible soon on the conference webpage.
Publication of Proceedings:
Sarah Codd and Joe Seymour will approach most of the invited lectures and selected contributed lecturers individually to contribute to a new edition of the microscopy book: S. Codd, J. Seymour, eds, Advances in Spatially Resolvec Magnetic Resonance, Wiley-VCH, 2008. Please consider contacting Sarah or Joe directly if you want to submit an article (scodd (at) coe.montana.edu). In particular young investigators are encouraged to contribute to the book.
Fees:
The registration fees apply to all participants including those with contributed papers:
Regular participant:
The fees cover the participation at the meeting, the conference booklet and the conference dinner.
Venue:
The meeting will take place in the Karman-Auditorium of the RWTH-Aachen University, located 5 min by foot from the city centre.
